Who we are
Family-owned refrigerated transport company operating since 1991 with operations throughout Australia. We specialise in refrigerated cartage of fresh produce, servicing both large and small businesses across Australia with depots in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and other outlying areas. We have one of the latest model fleets in Australia and our aim is to be an industry leader in the transportation of cold produce throughout Australia.
With Head Office located in Werribee South, we’re perfectly situated within the produce grower area with depots located in Goulburn Valley area in Shepparton & Cobram as well as Citrus Region of Gayndah and Guyra NSW, Brisbane and Sydney. Delivery Points covered include Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, Wyong, Perth as well as some regional major towns.
Our Capability
DRT Operates a modern fleet of vehicles and refrigeration equipment, offering services to all Eastern Capital Cities from all of our depots/warehouse sites.
Our vehicles are fitted with GPS tracking which can provide real time temperature data reporting for the journey. We operate the latest Thermo King refrigeration units which reduce noise and meet the latest emissions standards.
Our business is built on our ability to service our customers in a safe, timely and professional manner.

Shane Splatt
Managing Director
Shane has spent his working lifetime within the fruit and vegetable Industry. For the past 37 years he has owned, operated and developed a successful Refrigerated Transport business. He is actively involved in the day to day management of the business.
Scott Splatt
Director
Scott has over 20 years of experience within the operational side of the business. He has developed an excellent knowledge of Refrigerated Transport from both a management and operational focus.

NHVAS, AMCAS and HVNL Compliance
DRT Logistics operates as an accredited heavy vehicle operator under the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS), holding Basic Fatigue Management (BFM), Mass Management and Maintenance Management modules. Our drivers and managers operate within Chain of Responsibility (CoR) duties under the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL).
We are also AMCAS-accredited under The Master Code of Practice. Together, NHVAS, AMCAS and HVNL compliance underpin every refrigerated load we run — from driver fatigue and mass limits to load restraint and temperature integrity.
